Refund and Returns Policy (Motorflog Ltd)

1. About This Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights when purchasing or using services through Motorflog Ltd (“Motorflog”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via www.motorflog.co.uk (“Website”).

2. Buy It Now Purchases (Trade Only)

All vehicles sold through our Buy It Now service are:

  • Sold strictly to trade buyers only
  • Sold as seen
  • Sold without warranty

By purchasing a vehicle, you confirm that:

You are acting in the course of a business or trade
You are not a consumer

No Returns or Refunds

All Buy It Now sales are final.

We do not offer:

  • Returns
  • Refunds
  • Exchanges
  • Cancellations
  • Cooling-off periods

Vehicle Condition

Vehicles:

  • May have known and unknown faults
  • May require repair or refurbishment

Buyers accept:

  • The condition of the vehicle at the point of sale
  • That no guarantee is given beyond what is stated in the listing

Exceptions

Refunds will only be considered where required by law, including:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Where we are legally obligated to do so

3. Auction Purchases

Vehicles purchased via auction (through IAA):

  • Are subject to the terms and conditions of the auction platform
  • Are non-refundable once purchased

Motorflog enforces the auction rules, including:

  • Payment deadlines
  • Binding bids

4. Flog It Service (Seller Fees)

The Flog It service fee:

  • £49 (including VAT)
  • Covers up to 3 auction cycles
  • Is non-refundable

Refunds are not provided where:

  • A vehicle does not sell
  • A seller chooses to withdraw their vehicle
  • Auction outcomes do not meet expectations

5. Sell My Car Service

The Sell My Car service:

  • Does not involve upfront fees
  • Does not require refunds

You are free to:

  • Decline any offer
  • Choose not to proceed

Once a sale is agreed:

  • Payment is made as outlined in the Sell My Car Terms
